Jarrett will share the secrets of: the Mount Newton/LAUWELNEW legends; the first peninsula survey of 1852; the 33 years John Dean spent at his cabin and the 1921 park donation; the 1936 to 1939 park development era; the emergence of today’s BC Parks; and how young people today connect with and cherish this amazing place.
