Membership

We welcome you to The Centre in Brentwood Bay. Our association is governed by an elected board of directors. We are somewhat unique as we function on volunteer help. This enables us to keep our annual fees low. The Annual Membership Dues Policy – 2024/2025 is as follows:

1. September 1, 2024 is the beginning of our new membership year; September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025.

2. The Membership fee is $60.

3. Effective April 1, 2025, the membership fee for new and returning members is $30 valid to    August 31, 2025.

4. Effective July 31, 2025, for new members only, the membership fee will be $60 for the period August 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026.

5. A prospective new member is invited to attend one (1) regularly scheduled activity free of charge.  If the person decides to continue participating in any regularly scheduled activity/program, they must become a member.

6. Membership is required to attend a regularly scheduled activity/program, except for the Speakers’ Series.  Membership to attend special events is determined on a case-by-case basis by the Board of Directors or the Executive. 

7. If you wish to join The Centre and cannot afford the fees, you may qualify for free membership by applying through the Panorama Recreation Centre Life Program.
